The Families with Children from South Africa network is for families who are in the homestudy process, waiting for a referral or have already adopted in Canada.
We have new geographic network branches in Western Canada, Atlantic Canada and the main group in Ontario.
The network meets 10-13 times a year (at different geographic locations around Canada), but also encourages informal gatherings, coordinates attendance at African events and regular playdates among the children. Upcoming Events:
The next Families with Children from South Africa gatherings will be on Sunday, September 26th at 1 pm in Toronto.
RETREAT: Our families will be going away together to Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls the weekend of November 27-28, 2010. When you call to book your room remember to ask for our group discount rate!

We celebrated South African Freedom Day (anniversary of first democratic elections in South Africa) on May 1, 2010 in Toronto with Mahata Mmoho II - Stepping Together.
We also hosted a FIFA World Cup Soccer Party on Saturday, June 12, 2010 in Newmarket.
